Mike Epps

With a career that shot straight to stardom, Mike Epps is lauded as one of the funniest comedic actors in the business today. Epps's next project is the film "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" scheduled for a February 8th, 2008 release. The film, directed by Malcolm Lee, also stars Martin Lawrence and Cedric the Entertainer, but word has it that Mike is the true scene-stealer. Also scheduled for 2008 releases are "The Grand", an improvisational comedy focused around a live poker tournament and "Next Day Air." Ever the comedic chameleon, this past year, Epps took on a dramatic role in "Talk to Me" and reprised his role in "Resident Evil: Extinction". Always the risk-taker, Mike finds a way to reassure his existing fans of his immense talent while gaining new ones expeditiously. Mike is perhaps best known for perfecting the role of "Day-Day" opposite Ice Cube in the popular Friday series "Next Friday" and "Friday After Next." Mike's impressive resume also lists starring roles in such films as All About the Benjamins, How High, The Fighting Temptations and most recently, The Honeymooners and Roll Bounce. Epps began his career as a standup comic, and is always sure to make the time for both. Between filming, Mike can be found on the road with his wildly successful comedy act.
